The right environment can move your flying on quickly.

Once you can fly, the next stage is often confidence. New sites, new conditions and new decisions can feel like a big step when you are on your own.

Elevate trips and progression days are designed to give pilots structure, support and useful flying time. The aim is not just to visit somewhere different. It is to come away a better, calmer and more capable pilot.

Trips may include guided flying, site briefings, progression coaching, SIV, confidence building, thermalling and cross-country development depending on the location and group.

Discuss development

Better flying comes from useful experience.

Trips and progression work because they put you in the right learning environment. You fly, brief, debrief, watch others, ask questions and build confidence without being left to guess.

Before joining a trip or SIV course.

Do I need to be qualified?

Most trips and SIV work are for pilots with some existing experience. Tell us your current level and we will advise honestly.

Are trips weather dependent?

Yes. We plan around the most suitable locations and conditions, but all flying remains weather-led.

Is SIV only for advanced pilots?

No, but it must be approached at the right time with proper coaching and the right environment.
